At Paradise Wild Life Park

Home of the future Speedway Museum

On the left  Archie Windmill, then Peter Sampson (owner of the Paradise Park and ex-rider)
in the centre the 2006/7 W.S.R.A. President Jack Geran who is next to the promoter Dingle Brown and on the extreme right is the ex-rider Tony Salmon

On the right Mr. Wally Loak who has done much to support the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund and lately the Speedway Museum by recording, producing and selling his work for the benefit of both worthy causes.

Wally was the first to record for posterity Speedway Matches and events to audiotape, and now to video and DVD. He now has an archive of such material going back for 50 plus years, so apart from his fund raising efforts he must have many irreplaceable speedway memories stored away for future generations to enjoy.

On the left George Barclay, who with his partner Linda, has been responsible for getting the Museum off the ground in a little less than a year. On the right Peter Thorogood responsible for getting Arena Essex Speedway team off to a flying start when they first started as he was their first Team Manager.

Above Dingle Brown - the well known factotum
of Mildenhall & Wimbledon and, of course, ex rider
& promoter.

Jack Geran - Rider and member of the
World Speedway Riders'  Association and
the President for  2006/07
