Our president Terry Stone presenting the WSRA Cup to the Winner of the British Final this year that was Chris (Bomber) Harris. The photographer was Terry's 8 year old grandson Daniel, well done Daniel I understand you had a great evening being allowed onto the center green and being given your own pit pass.

When Pete Wigley and his wife Chris, (who are regular visitors to our Sunderland Reunions) decided to make the long journey up north to take a caravaning holiday in Northumberland, we decided to hold a get-together at Dunstan Hill Caravan Park. |
| Wiggo was there for a couple of weeks. He was joined by ex Sunderland rider Pete Wrathall and wife June who also brought up their caravan from his home in the Midlands. They were joined by former "Stars" captain Russ Dent and wife Pauline who wished they could have stayed longer than just a day. | ![]() |

Another time perhaps. Also at the get-together was fellow reunion organiser Ian Martin who twice made the 100 mile round trip to Dunstan Hill. Molly and I decided to invest in a tent for four nights. It must have been 25 years since we last camped out in a tent, we must be mad camping at our age! |
| Still it was a good break, the weather was kind to us and we managed to take in a speedway meeting at Berwick last Saturday, which they all enjoyed immensely. | ![]() |

Good
company, good conversation and a drink or two.......or was that three or four.......lost
count really. Anyway we all had a good time, when's the next
"bash" lads? |
| Wiggo
and Wrathy now knows their way around the North East better than I
do..... where to by the best kippers and bangers etc. Wiggo kept
us all entertained with his none stop Tommy Cooper and Jethro
impressions, so it was quite lively on site. Submitted by Bob Ferry |
